Materials Used

  • Red or pink balloons
  • A balloon inflator
  • Twine
  • Green card stock paper
  • Tape or glue
  • Scissors
  • Pencil

Instructions

  1. Blow the balloons halfway (to make the balloon round) using balloon inflator and then secure the ends
  2. Cut small piece of twine (about 18 inches long)
  3. Tie each end to the tip of balloon and cut off any excess string
  4. Cut long piece of string, the length that you want your full garland to be
  5. Hang that on the wall with thumbtacks
  6. Loop each double balloon around the garland twine that is hung
  7. Draw a few leaves on green card stock paper and cut them out.  Can also add some stem details to the leaves for variation. Glue the two leaves together
  8. Use hot glue or tape to adhere the leaves to the front of the garland. Another option is to punch a hole at the bottom of the leaf and tie it on the garland to secure
